East Coast Tour

It’s been so nice to spend the past week with family and friends on the East Coast. We have divided our time between three states and five different stops…

First we enjoyed two days in Virginia with Erin’s family–including her sister, bro-in-law and niece from Alaska.

Next we met the newest addition to the Macy side of the family, Oscar, in Philadelphia, PA.

John indulged his big sister and allowed her creative license with his facial hair.

After a few days of hanging out we stopped in Princeton, NJ and grabbed lunch at the Original Soup Man soup shop (the one on which the Seinfeld episode was based) with a friend from Newberg, Joel Bock, whose temporary home is there.

We then moved on up the road to Lee, MA to celebrate the release of their book and catch up with Erin’s co-author and dear friend, Tiffany, and her husband, Carter.

Although 9 months pregnant and due last week, Tiffany hasn’t slowed down a bit!

The road took us back south through five states in one day–something you just can’t experience on the West Coast–to Northern Virginia for some time with Erin’s youngest sister, Emily, and sight seeing in Washington DC which will begin Thursday.

I love the book picture! Look at those amazing authors! Can I get my copy signed when I buy one this summer? Enjoy your last days on the East Coast. I’m praying for your time and transition to OR. See you in less than a month!
